Our NEW, not-for-profit community organisation currently has 2 project areas of need:
- Funds to assist with the preservation & relocation of WW2 buildings to Mareeba Airport.
- Funds to assist securing aircraft & artefacts for display in our WW2 display.

WRITE A LETTER OF SUPPORT
The Staged approach
Stage 1
- Background administration including formation of the Company
- Appointment of Auditor & Accountant, information kit, policies and procedures
- Set up Website, email hosting, social media accounts
- Begin obtaining membership and the fund raising process
Stage 2
- Appoint Grant Writer, identify possible funding opportunities
- Obtain letters of support
- Public consultation and awareness of the project
- Work with Architects and Builders to develop a building plan to suit the allocated area
- Prepare Strategic, Business & Marketing Plans
Stage 3
- Finalise building plan and work with council for approval of plans
- Continue fundraising, through Grants, donations, go fund me and other identified methods
- Actively locate relevant aircraft and memorabilia for display in the museum
Stage 4
- Stage 1 of building to commence
- Continue fundraising and grant applications
- Continue public Awareness and provide updates to relevant stakeholders and community groups
